The inspection
What happens when we come out
Every inspection follows the same seven steps. The person at your house has one job: to make sure you are safe, protected, and have the right information.
-
A thorough inspection
We look at the whole roof, not just the spot you called about.
-
The drone flies
Photos of every slope, including the ones you cannot see from the ground.
-
We walk it in person
The drone spots problems. Boots on the roof confirm them.
-
Attic and crawl space, if needed
Leaks and mold show up inside before they show up outside.
-
Repair or replace
A repair is the answer more often than most roofers will tell you.
-
The insurance question
If we find storm or hail damage, we ask about your coverage and document everything either way.
-
Our recommendation
In writing, with the photos to back it up.
-
That is the whole pitch.
Your estimate comes with package options. Take them or leave them.
Free drone inspection
Every slope, from the air
Boots on the roof come first. Then the drone flies and photographs every slope, the steep ones and the ones out back included, so you see exactly what we saw.

Thermal imaging on request
As a roof cools, wet areas hold heat longer than dry ones, so trapped moisture can show up as a warm patch. We confirm anything we see on the roof before we call it a leak.
Free and in person, and every photo is yours.
Nobody who comes to your house earns a commission.
The person at your door is an inspector, not a salesman. Their only job is to make sure you and your family are safe, protected, and have the right information.
-
Salaried inspectors
If your roof does not need work, we will tell you. Nobody gains anything by overselling it.
-
Hundreds of photos of your job
Before, during, and after. You get every one of them.

86 tasks checked on every roof
The same checklist on every job, whoever is on site.

Insurance carriers pay us to inspect roofs for them.
When a carrier needs a roof checked somewhere hard to reach, outside their own inspectors’ range, they hire us to do it.
We document and estimate. We are roofers, not public adjusters, so we do not negotiate or file claims for homeowners.
“They took the time to explain everything clearly and provided photos throughout the process.”

Roof inspection questions
The questions Utah homeowners ask us before we come out.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, for any work the inspection turns up. You can pay over time with in-house financing or through one of our lending partners. Military, first responders, and teachers get an automatic $500 off.
Do you handle insurance?
We inspect, photograph, and write up what we find, and give you a written estimate you can hand to your insurance company. We are roofers, not public adjusters, so we do not negotiate or file the claim for you, and we never promise a free roof. How insurance works.
Can you inspect a roof with solar panels?
Yes. We look at the roof around and under the panels. We hold the S202 Solar Photovoltaic classification on our Utah contractor license, so if panels need to come off for a repair, our own crew does it.
What counts as an act of God?
Damage nobody caused. Hail, wind, lightning, a tree that came down in a storm. That is the kind of damage most homeowner policies are written for. What they usually will not cover is a roof that simply got old. Your policy decides, so read it or ask your agent.
How can I tell if I have storm damage?
From the ground, mostly you cannot. Look for shingle granules piling up at the downspouts, lifted or missing shingles, dents in gutters, vents, and downspouts, and any new stain on an upstairs ceiling. That is exactly what this inspection is for. What storm damage looks like.
Is the inspection really free?
Yes. No credit card, no deposit, and no commissioned salesperson. Our inspectors are paid a salary, not commission, so if your roof doesn’t need work, we’ll tell you.
What does a roof inspection include?
The whole roof, not just the spot you called about. We walk it in person, the drone photographs every slope, and we look at shingles, flashing, vents, gutters, and the edges of the roof. If a leak is involved, we check the attic and crawl space too, and thermal imaging is available on request. You get the photos and our recommendation in writing.
Are drone roof inspections accurate?
The drone is for photos, not the final word. It gets close-up shots of every slope, including the steep and hidden ones, and then an inspector walks the roof in person to confirm what the photos show.
Do you inspect commercial roofs?
Yes. Flat and commercial roofs get the same drone flight and the same in-person walk, with a written scope your owner or board can read. Commercial roofing.
