Commercial solar work
What we do on commercial roofs
-
New systems on a roof built to carry it
We assess the roof system first, so a new array does not go up on a roof that needs replacing soon after.
-
Panels off and back on for a reroof
Our licensed crew takes the array down, the new roof goes on, and the array goes back.
-
Repairs and leaks under the array
Mount leaks and storm damage around the panels get found, photographed, and fixed by one crew.
-
Flat and low-slope systems underneath
TPO, EPDM, PVC, and liquid-applied systems, backed by CertainTeed Low-Slope and Liquid-Applied Roofing Master credentials.
We are licensed for solar work, for homes and businesses alike. We are not electricians, and we will not pretend to be.

Commercial solar questions
The questions property managers and owners ask us about solar on their buildings.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We have options through our lending partners, plus in-house financing. Ask about terms for your building at the assessment.
Do you handle insurance?
We document and estimate. We inspect, photograph, and measure, then give you and your carrier a complete dated report. We are roofers, not public adjusters, so we do not negotiate or file the claim for you.
Can you work on a building that already has solar?
Yes. We hold our own solar license, so our crew takes the panels off and puts them back on instead of subbing it out.
What counts as an act of God on a commercial policy?
Usually a sudden event nobody could control, like hail, a windstorm, or a falling tree. Wear, age, and skipped maintenance usually do not count. Your policy and your carrier make the final call.
How do I know if my building has storm damage?
Look for punctures, ponding water that was not there before, loose or displaced flashing, and dents on rooftop units and vents. Most of it cannot be seen from the parking lot, so our free assessment includes drone photos of the whole roof.
Can our business stay open while you work?
In most cases, yes. We plan access, parking, and entrances around how your building runs, a project manager is on site all day, and tenants and staff get a heads-up before work starts.
Can our flat roof carry a solar array?
We look at the roof system first. Its age, its condition, and whether it is ready for an array all come before any quote. If the roof needs work before panels go up, we tell you.
Are there commercial solar tax credits?
Check for solar tax credits and available energy efficiency programs with your tax advisor. We are a contractor, not a tax advisor, so we do not promise any credit.
Do you provide certificates of insurance?
Yes. General liability and full workers comp, with certificates of insurance available before you sign anything.
Are you electricians?
No. We are licensed for solar work (S202 Solar Photovoltaic) and general building (B100) under Utah contractor license 6933591-5501. We are not licensed electricians, and we do not do general electrical work.
