Your hometown roofing and solar team
South Jordan is home. Our office is at 901 Baxter Dr, and a lot of the roofs we inspect are a few minutes from our desks. Why that matters to you: when the roofer lives down the road, the roof is not a one-time sale. We see it every time we drive by.
Headquartered on Baxter Drive
We have been in business since 2007, and we have 60+ documented residential jobs in South Jordan, 44 in the 84095 ZIP code and 15 more in 84009. Being this close is why we can offer same-day estimates, and it is why our project managers go door to door when we are working in a South Jordan neighborhood, to inform and educate the neighbors and offer free inspections. Our inspectors are paid a salary, not commission, so nobody here earns more by selling you a roof you do not need.
From farm town to a city of 77,000
South Jordan started small. The first family settled along the Jordan River in 1859, and the town voted to incorporate on November 8, 1935, mostly so it could pay for a water tank. In 1960 it had 1,354 people. By 2000 it had 29,437, and by the 2020 census it had 77,487, according to the city’s census history on Wikipedia. Farmland turned into neighborhoods almost overnight.
The 2000s roofs are coming due
That growth means South Jordan homes are young. According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey, the median home here was built in 2010, and about three out of four went up in 2000 or later. But young is relative for a roof. More than one in four South Jordan homes was built between 2000 and 2009, and those roofs are around 20 years old now. If yours is still the original, it has earned an inspection. On shingle roofs we install GAF Timberline HDZ or CertainTeed Landmark Pro, the same shingles that come in our packages.
Daybreak and the HOA step
A big part of the west side is Daybreak, the master-planned community on land once owned by Kennecott. Its community association asks that any exterior change be reviewed and approved by its Design Review Committee before the work starts, and solar panels have their own application. Bring us in early and we will give you the shingle line and color details the application asks for, so the committee is a formality instead of a delay.
Owners who stay, roofs that work harder
About four out of five occupied homes in South Jordan are lived in by their owners, the same Census survey shows. People who plan to stay ask us about solar panels, and we handle those in-house under the S202 Solar Photovoltaic classification on our Utah contractor license. If you need a new roof under existing panels, we take them off and put them back with the same crew.
Just a reminder, we have financing options available. Learn more about financing, or you can schedule a free inspection or simply give us a call.
Recent work
Recent work in South Jordan
South Jordan is our own backyard. Here are two South Jordan roofs from our drone.
A brick home with a lot of roof
Hip roofs like this one have more edges, more ridges, and more places for wind to get under a shingle. From the air you can see every one of them, which is why every free inspection we do starts with the drone.
Next door to the next one
Look at the roofs beside this one. In a neighborhood built in the same few years, the houses age together. That is why we go door to door to let the neighbors know what we found, and why the inspection is free either way.
Nearby, we also work in West Jordan, Riverton, Herriman, Draper, Sandy.

South Jordan roofing questions
Questions we get all the time from South Jordan homeowners.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, and you can talk it over at our South Jordan office. We offer financing through our lending partners and our own in-house financing, and we help you pick what fits. Military, first responders, and teachers get an automatic $500 off.
Do you handle insurance?
We inspect, mark, photograph, and give your insurance company a complete dated report. With your OK, we also answer your carrier’s questions about what we documented. We are roofers, not public adjusters, so we do not negotiate or file the claim for you, and we never promise a free roof. What we make sure of is that nothing on your roof goes undocumented.
What counts as an act of God?
Damage nobody caused. Hail, wind, lightning, a tree that came down in a storm. Nobody was careless and nobody skipped a repair, the weather just showed up. That is the kind of damage most homeowner policies are written for. What they usually will not cover is a roof that simply got old, which is exactly the line good photos win and bad photos lose.
How do I tell if I have storm damage?
From the ground, mostly you cannot, and that is the problem. Look for shingle granules in the gutters or at the downspout, lifted or missing shingles after wind, dents on soft metal like vents and downspouts, and any new stain on an upstairs ceiling. If you spot any of it, get the free inspection and we will document every slope before it turns into a leak.
Do you work on roofs with solar panels?
Yes, in-house. We hold the S202 Solar Photovoltaic classification on our Utah contractor license, so panels come off and go back on with the crew that does your roof. No second company, no second wait, and one warranty conversation instead of two.
Where is your office?
Right here in South Jordan, at 901 Baxter Dr. If you live in town, the people who inspect your roof work a few minutes away, and that is exactly why we can offer same-day estimates.
Do I need HOA approval to replace my roof in Daybreak?
Plan on it. Daybreak’s community association requires any exterior change to a home to be reviewed and approved by its Design Review Committee before the work starts, and solar panels have their own application. Bring us in early and we will give you the shingle line and color details your application asks for.
My South Jordan home was built in the 2000s. Is the roof due?
It is worth a look. More than one in four homes in South Jordan went up between 2000 and 2009, so a lot of those roofs are around 20 years old now. Age alone does not mean replace. A free inspection tells you whether you need a repair, a replacement, or nothing at all, and our inspectors are paid a salary, not commission.
Do you pull permits in South Jordan?
Yes. We pull the reroof permit where the city requires one.
How many roofs have you done in South Jordan?
60+ documented residential jobs, counted from our own job records. 44 are in 84095 and 15 are in 84009, so we have worked on both sides of town. Every one photographed.
