Salt Lake City, Utah Roof leaks
Water shows up inside before it shows up outside. We check the attic, find where it is getting in, and fix the source, not just the stain.
-
Missing or torn shingles
Wind lifts tabs and tears shingles loose. We replace the damaged ones and seal them down with the roof around them.
-
Flashing and chimneys
A lot of leaks start where the roof meets something else. We replace worn flashing so water runs past the joint instead of into it.
-
Pipe boots and vents
A cracked boot around a vent pipe is a small part. Catching it early keeps the decking under it dry.
-
Storm and hail damage
Creases and hail hits are easy to miss from the ground. We mark and photograph every one.

Heat cables in Park City Ice dams and winter leaks
Ice at the eaves backs water up under the shingles. We repair the damage and add heat cables where the roof calls for them.

Roof repair questions
We try to be as transparent as we can. These are the questions homeowners ask us most about repairs.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, repairs included, through our lending partners or our own in-house financing. Ask during your inspection and we will find the one that fits. Military, first responders, and teachers get an automatic $500 off. See financing.
Do you handle insurance?
We document; you and your insurance company decide. We are roofers, not public adjusters, so we do not negotiate or file claims. What we do: inspect the roof in person, photograph every slope, and give you a dated report and a written estimate you can hand to your carrier. Then we explain each step so nothing surprises you. How insurance works with a roof.
Can you repair a roof with solar panels on it?
Yes. We are licensed for solar work (the S202 classification on our Utah contractor license, 6933591-5501), so our own crew takes the panels off and puts them back. One company handles the whole job. Solar repair.
What counts as an act of God?
Damage nobody caused. Hail, wind, lightning, a tree that came down in a storm. Nobody was careless, the weather just showed up. That is the kind of damage most homeowner policies are written for. What they usually will not cover is a roof that simply got old, which is why good photos matter. More on insurance.
How do I know if I have storm damage?
From the ground, mostly you cannot, and that is the problem. Look for shingle granules at the downspouts, lifted or missing shingles after wind, dents on soft metal like vents and gutters, and any new stain on an upstairs ceiling. If you spot any of it, get the free inspection and we will document every slope. Storm and hail damage.
How much does a roof repair cost?
It depends on the damage, and anyone who quotes you without looking is guessing. The price moves with how much is damaged, the pitch and access, the material, and whether the decking underneath has gone bad. The inspection is free, and same-day estimates are available once we have seen the roof.
Will you tell me if I only need a repair?
Yes. Our inspectors are paid a salary, not commission, so nobody on your roof makes more if you buy more. We don’t sell what you don’t need, and if your roof doesn’t need work, we’ll tell you that too. Our rule of thumb: if your roof is older than 30 years or has had recent damage, definitely give us a call, and we will tell you whether it is a repair or a roof replacement.
My roof is leaking right now. What do I do?
Move what you can, catch the water, and call us. Get valuables out from under the drip, put a bucket down, and take photos of the ceiling. Stay off the roof. We respond the same day to emergency roof repairs during business hours: (801) 252-5124.
Do you stand behind your repairs?
Yes. If you are not happy with our work, how we did things, or how we communicated, let us know and we will make it right.
Have a question we didn’t answer? Call or text (801) 252-5124 and ask a real person.
