Why the longer-lasting roof usually wins

A 50-year roof costs less per year than a 30-year roof. You only pay for one tear-off instead of two, and with material costs still climbing, the roof you buy once tends to beat the roof you buy twice.

Only if it fits your budget, though. The Essential is still a great roof with the same lifetime workmanship warranty*, and financing can spread it out.

Every roof comes with this

  • Lifetime workmanship warranty*On every package, not just the top one.
  • Hundreds of photos of your jobBefore, during and after. You get all of them.

  • A project manager on siteOn every job, start to finish.

What does a new roof cost in Utah?

It depends.

Anyone who hands you a number without seeing the roof is guessing. A roof is an equation, so we get someone out there, free, to fill in the variables.

Your estimate comes with a measurement report, a roof condition grade, and clear pricing on all three packages, with zero upgrade line items. Same-day estimates available.

The variables

  • Roof size and pitch
  • The package you pick
  • Tear-off layers and decking condition
  • Solar panels coming off and going back on
  • Access, stories, and ventilation

Financing is available. Military, first responders, and teachers get $500 off automatically.

What makes us different

Nobody who comes to your house earns a commission.

The person at your door is an inspector, not a salesman. Their only job is to make sure you and your family are safe, protected, and have the right information.

Roof replacement questions

We try to be as transparent as we can. These are the questions homeowners ask us most before a new roof.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Our lending partners and our in-house financing both cover a full replacement, so the roof you want does not have to wait. Military, first responders, and teachers get an automatic $500 off. See financing.

Do you handle insurance?

We document; you and your insurance company decide. We are roofers, not public adjusters, so we do not negotiate or file claims, and we never promise a free roof. What we do: inspect in person, photograph every slope, and give you a dated report and a written estimate you can hand to your carrier. Then we explain each step so nothing surprises you. How insurance works with a roof.

I have solar panels. Who takes them off?

We do. We are licensed for solar work (the S202 classification on our Utah contractor license, 6933591-5501), so our own crew takes the panels off, replaces the roof, and puts them back. One company runs the whole job. Roof replacement with solar.

What counts as an act of God?

Damage nobody caused. Hail, wind, lightning, a tree that came down in a storm. Nobody was careless, the weather just showed up. That is the kind of damage most homeowner policies are written for. What they usually will not cover is a roof that simply got old, which is why good photos matter. More on insurance.

How do I know if a storm damaged my roof?

From the ground, mostly you cannot, and that is the problem. Look for shingle granules at the downspouts, lifted or missing shingles after wind, dents on soft metal like vents and gutters, and any new stain on an upstairs ceiling. If you spot any of it, get the free inspection and we will document every slope. Storm and hail damage.

How much does a new roof cost in Utah?

It depends on the roof. Size and pitch, the package you pick, how many layers come off, the decking, solar panels, and access all move the number. The inspection is free, and same-day estimates are available once we have seen the roof, with clear pricing on all three packages and zero upgrade line items.

How long does a roof replacement take?

We have a 24 to 48 hour turnaround on most residential replacements. You get a clear timeline with your estimate, before any work starts.

Do I need to be home during the replacement?

No. A project manager is on site for the job, and you get a real-time photo album you can follow from anywhere. If you are home, the PM will walk you through what is happening whenever you want.

Can you put a new roof over my old one?

No. We never do layovers. In our founder’s words: “It’s better to spend a couple extra bucks now than to save a few thousand by doing a layover.” Tear-off shows us the decking, and two sheets of new decking come included.

Do you pull permits?

Yes. We pull the reroof permit where the city requires one.

How long does a new roof last?

It depends on the package. The Essential Lifetime System is built to push about 30 years. The Enhanced system, the one most homeowners pick, is built to push 40 to 50 years. The Signature system is our premium roof. Compare the packages.
